In this interview, Diedra Lawrence and Nicole Cherry, 2 members of the Marian Anderson String Quartet discuss their music and their Community School of Music, began in 2009 in Bryan as a "needs based" school, meaning no adult or child will be turned away due to inability to pay. Equally at home in the concert hall and the classroom, the Marian Anderson String Quartet's unique history includes performances at Lincoln Center, the Library of Congress and the 1993 Presidential Gala as well as countless schools, churches and juvenile correctional facilities.
