Our guest is Fort Worth native and indy filmmaker artist Tom Huckabee. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0399592/

Tom was in Bryan/College Station to screen his most recent film "Carried Away", http://www.carriedawaythemovie.com/carriedawaythemovie/home.html which he wrote, directed, produced and financed.  This film tells the story of a family dealing with the dementia of it's matriarch with a dynamic mix of comedy and drama. Tom has also been traveling the U.S., taking the film to various venues and screening it in unconventional settings, continuing the "indy" spirit in which it was created.
Tom was also a member of the Austin punk bands "The Huns" and later "The Reversible Cords" during the 70's. He has been called an artistic "renaissance man" many times in articles about his life and work.

While in town, Tom stopped by the KEOS studios, and during this interview talked about the making of "Carried Away" and his thoughts on art and life. This interview also features music from the band "Theater Fire", whom he chose to provide the score for his latest movie.
Enjoy this fascinating interview!
