Our guest on "Our Voices, Ourselves"  is Dr. Ashley Currier, professor in the Sociology Dept. and the Women and Gender Studies Dept. at Texas A&M.
In a pre-recorded interview with Vandy, Ashley discusses her research and teaching interests, which include: gender, sexualities, GLBT and queer studies, as well as transnational and African feminisms.
In this wonderful and thoughtful interview, she also discusses her her activism with GLBT social movements in Namibia and South Africa, and the ways that has influenced her life and studies.
