Many people in this community know Krista May for her efforts with the Brazos Progressives, as well as her work for Texas A&M as the World Shakespeare Bibliography associate editor, as well as teacher, Queer Studies Working Group member, and a GLBTA advisor.
Krista has been on KEOS in the past, discussing organizations and events, but in this interview, we find out about Krista May herself!
We  discuss her background, and the experiences in her life that inform her activism today. We talk about what inspires her and what concerns her. We play and discuss an excerpt from an Angela Davis speech, in which Angela Davis adresses the term "diversity".

And we will  find out what music and what literature have motivated and sustained Krista during difficult times.

Join us for this wonderful and inspiring interview!
